Abstract:
*This layer is primarily composed of U.S. Census Data, but also contains updated polygons for incorporated places that have submitted annexed town boundaries to the WVDOTIncorporated places are concentrations of population such as cities, towns, and villages, thathave legally prescribed boundaries, powers, and functions. Incorporated Places weredownloaded from the U.S. Census Bureau's TIGER/Line Shapefiles 2023.Demographic data was joined to this feature class in the following fields:PopCalcYear contains the year that the PopCalc data is from.PopCalc contains total population estimates 2018-2022, Table DP05,PopDecYear contains the year of the latest biennial census survey.PopDecCount contains the 2020 official U.S. census population count.
