All routes are assigned route dominance. If multiple routes share the same underlying geometry (centerline), route dominance rules are applied. Where concurrent routes exist, route dominance is generally assigned to the route that meets the following criteria: lowest sign system number followed by lowest route number followed by highest supplemental code. There are some exceptions where the dominant route does not follow the dominance rules.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
